My Craft Book Project

I decided to join Craft Buds in their Craft Book Project link up.  I have been working on these since June, and am not done making all the colors I want to make yet, but here goes...

My favorite craft book is Sunday Morning Quilts.  I love every single quilt in there and would love to make them all.

One quilt in the book I felt drawn to the most was the Original Ticker Tape Quilt.  I L-O-V-E this one.  But I could not see myself making a full size one of these.

Then it came to me...make a mini .  Then, wait, how about only using one color scraps?  But I have lots of scraps in lots of colors.  So how about lots of minis in different colorways?

Here is my red one, which is my most recent one.
                                                Green
Yellow, which was the first one I made.
                                                       And blue

I still have more to make until I use scraps from each of my color bins.  So stay tuned...

Thanks. It is so much fun to pick the scraps. Sort of a walk down fabric memory lane.

Those are adorable - I love the ticker tape design! How big are your quilts? They look wallhanging size - perfect to add a punch of colour to a wall :)

I sort my scraps by colour too - I'm working on colour block toddler quilts :D
