Dreaming of Spring

Since I can't really sew right now, I am planning a few new projects. One of the things I am planning is a small 36 inch square quilt for above my fireplace. I want it to remind me of the colors of spring.
I pulled almost every green from my stash, focusing on the pale, yellowish greens that remind me of the new buds that first appear each spring. I added a couple of darker greens for contrast.
This stack really makes me smile. I have a plan, and as soon as I can start cutting, I will. I can almost smell the fragrance of the earth as it is turned for planting. I am happy I can still find a way to play with my fabrics.

Brought a smile to my face to because my very favourite colour is green. You have some wonderful greens in that pile. Look forward to seeing what you end up making.

Charlotte have a great time playing with the wonderful green springy colors. I love green too and sooner as we know, there will be Spring again.
Hugs from me in Sweden where the birds have started to sing a little.

That's a beautiful pile of green fabrics and a great incentive to get back to sewing when you're ready.
