I went into the sewing room Sunday to look at the charms and do my selections and replacements. It was a mess!! I could not think, work or create in there. So I had to clean and organize first. (warning: lots of pics)

And now, what you were really waiting to see...The Charming Travelers. This is what came to me. There are 56 Charms in here. This came to me from Christina at Dolci Deleria.
I spread them out and looked at all of them. There seems to be lots of dark colors and purples in here.
These are the ones I chose to keep. Most of these are very different from my charm stash.
And these are what I put back in the pack. I felt like it needed to be lightened up a bit. And yes, there are a couple of what I considered ugly pieces in there, but you know what they say 'one man's trash is another man's treasure".
And here they are, all ready to go out again. If you would like the Charming Travelers to come visit you, just leave me a comment here on this post. Tell me what you or your kids are going to dress up as for Halloween. I will pick a winner Saturday, October 20.
The Rules, as written by Diane:
- winners must be active bloggers
- you must reside in the US
- before sending the charm pack off to the next winner, there must be 56 - 5" x 5" squares of fabric inside - please no yucky fabrics
- to help keep Diane's map updated, winners must fill out the quick and easy form to let her know where you are!
- if the charm pack arrives full of unwanted charms, let Diane know and she'll clear it out and fill it back up with more beautiful fabrics!
Have a great week.

I know what you mean about the clutter. It makes creating and concentrating so difficult if my workspace isn't tidy. I've been cutting 5" charms from scraps and would love to share!
I love seeing photos of sewing rooms! Good job on the clean up! Since my kids are grown, I only have to dress up my pup, Lilly! I think this year she will be the Little Mermaid! Last year she was Minnie Mouse o:)
I stopped to clean a bit last week as well. What a fun idea of the traveling charms. I've love to participate. No kids to dress up and I don't think the cat would appreciate a costume.
I just laughed about your "another man's treasure comment! I would not have picked what you picked but would totally pick what you put in! To each his own! I have a 10 year old daughter going as Katniss from Hunger Games and a 6 year old son going as Diddy Kong... Donkey Kong's son if you're not sure (I wasn't and had to ask!).
I'd love to win it!!! :) I've been following it for a while! :)
My daughter is going to be BamBam from the Flintstones (it's her first Halloween) and I've started working on her costume!! I have a Wilma costume from a few years ago, so I'll be going as that!
Charming Travelers is so much fun!
My oldest daughter is going to be a monster and my younger one a butterfly
Hi there... Oh how fun. My son is going to be bat man.
I'd love a chance with the Travellers.
Your "messy" craft room is my "clean" craft room! (and I really like what you added to the charm set).
It always feels so good to have a clean space to create in! You're so fortunate to have room dedicated to your craft!
Hi! I have a pirate, a southern belle and a beautiful purple flower heading out on Halloween. Wonderful space, Charlotte. I wish my space was so nice and organized!
The kids are driving me CRAZY trying to come up with gross and/or scary costume ideas. Apparently there will be a motorcycle jacket and blood and I don't know what else. Ugh! Me, I plan to be Spock from Star Trek.
My daughter wants to be Blossom from the PowerPuff Girls and I'm going to be a witch.
This sounds like fun! My kids are too old to dress up, although they may do something funky for marching practice that day.
