I have been very busy getting organized for the new year. I have cleaned the sewing room and made a list of things that need to be finished. I have begun working on those things. I am taking lots of pictures to show you. I have plans and I have goals. But, I also have surgery coming up in 3 weeks. I have no idea how long I will be unable to sew, so I am stocking up on pictures of things I can share with you during that time, because a blog post without pictures is boring, to me.

Pink is my favorite color, but if I were to choose a single color, I would have to go with either blue or violet. These colors have a greater value range, so it would offer a lot of design possibilities.

As far as colors to pair that pink with, I'd go with acid green. I've always found it a striking color combination.
