This one has been a long time in the making. Lots of pictures folks, because I love them all and couldn't decide. Ready? Here we go:
This is V's quilt. It is Riley Blake's Rocket Age fabric line. A wonderful vintage looking fabric line.
Great colors and this is the first time I have put a border on a quilt in ages. I just had to use all those triangles though.
Here is a close up of some of the prints in this line. Very 50's looking I think.
This is a favorite one with the old time comic book advertising on it. I so remember these.
And a rich royal blue Kona solid for the back. No fabric should compete with the front of this one.
Quilted with swirls and stars, because it is out of this world, right? This was a quick job to quilt.
This is B's quilt, made from Riley Blake's Sasparilla line of fabrics. It is actually the one I started first, but finished last for some reason.
A couple of close ups of the great cowboy prints in this line. I also love the bandana prints that I used for the star points.
The third print was this alphabet print that looks like old time typeset.
A bright cheerful Kona solid yellow for the back, and the whole center section quilted in horse shoes. That was my daughter's idea.
Here they are together. These will go on their new bunk beds which will be coming soon.
One last shot of the whole quilt. This is a quilt that I designed myself and once I started on B's, I knew I had to find the right fabric to make one for V so the brothers could have similar quilts.
I love the secondary pattern that popped up once I put the whole top together. I have written a very basic pattern for this if anyone is interested. I am considering whether to sell the pattern, but I would need testers first.
And as for the title of this post, well, Toy Story of course. The cowboy and girl reminded me of Woody and Jessie and the spaceman fabric is of course representing Buzz. Thanks so much to Riley Blake for great fabrics. Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts for Finish it Friday.

Such fun quilts--and I love the borders!
Adorable - both of them! One cool pattern and two striking finishes! You really spoilt us today! I always love visiting your blog!
I would love the pattern to make this quilt. It's amazing how different the two colour ways look. Well done.
Dianne, you are a no reply blogger. I would love to email you the pattern. Please send me your email address.
Beautiful pattern and I love both lines of fabric that you chose! I would love to be a tester for your pattern (I am sort of new to quilting, though, and I don't know if I could do it justice.)
There look so good! I love how different they look, considering that they are the same pattern.
